MADISON, WI USA (August 14, 2023) Porta Sophia filed a third party observation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) today for the international patent application PCT/US2022/040636 entitled “LYOPHILIZED ORALLY DISINTEGRATING TABLET FORMULATIONS OF D-LYSERGIC ACID DIETHYLAMIDE FOR THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS”, which is currently assigned to Mind Medicine, Inc. The submission consisted of six prior art documents that are material to the patentability of all 22 claims of the application.

The PCT application was filed on August 17, 2022 and claims priority to a U.S. provisional application filed on August 19, 2021. It describes a solid lyophilized immediate release formulation of LSD in the form of an orally disintegrating tablet. The application also claims a broad range of excipients and treatment of conditions including anxiety, depression, headache disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, stress disorders, addictions, body dysmorphic disorders, pain, neurodegenerative disorders, autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders and other neurological disorders.
